The M1 Health course is a comprehensive look at health across three units - A Healthy Foundation, Promoting Physical Health, and Protecting Your Health.
Health is a course designed to provide students an opportunity to examine and increase their basic knowledge of healthful living. Thought and discussion are encouraged. A major goal is for each student to take personal responsibility for their health and well being while attempting to make positive lifestyle changes.
The M1 History programme introduces students to the relationships between geography, history, economics, government, citizenship, and current events. A strong geographic focus is included in the course along with elements of history, government, and current events that will help students to analyze different regions of the world and the issues they face.
The M1 Health Course covers 10 topics which focus on many different aspects of healthy living and decision making. The main targets of the course are to offer knowledge about healthy behaviour and to emphasize character education.
